This year, my inspiration is coming from movies I loved when I was younger. Okay, I will be showing my age. But it was a good time!
 
 
February's colour is sensual, tactile and quite ghostly. It's inspired by an iconic scene from the 90s. Let me take you there...
 
We're in a dimly lit room in the early hours of the morning. A classic track plays on the record player. Telling you the song would give it away. But let's just say this melody is totally free. Completely unlinked. Not a shackle in sight.
 
Now to the colours. I won't say too much. But if you’re picturing soft light, natural clay tones, and a scene that made everyone suddenly very interested in ceramics, you'd be on the right track.
 
It was actually the yarn that made me think of this movie. The single ply skein has thin and thick portions, giving it an hourglass effect. Or you might even say it resembles a hand-thrown vase...
