This colourful knitting kit has all the yarn you need to make your very own My Rainbow Heart set. These beautiful colourwork beanie and gloves are designed by Stephanie Lotven of Tellybean Knits.
These kits have always sold really well at markets. The colours and patterns seem to bring people a lot of joy! So let's share that joy even further online!
There are three different kits depending on yor preference:
- The Full Kit - 24 10g mini skeins, plus a 100g silver-grey skein
- The "Cool Colours" Half Kit - 12 10g mini skeins, plus a 50g silver-grey skein
- The "Warm Colours" Half Kit - 12 10g mini skeins, plus a 50g silver-grey skein
The full kit is more than enough to make at least one beanie and two gloves, with plenty left over to play with (why not make another beanie, or knit a pair of socks)! Both half kits are enough to make either the gloves or the beanie, with some left over.
In the first photo on this listing (the 'nest' of coloured skeins), you can see the "cool" colours on the left (blues, purples and greens), and the "warm" colours on the right (yellows, reds and oranges).
In addition to the kit, you will need to purchase the pattern on Ravelry.

My Rainbow Heart Kit
It is best to hand wash gently in luke warm water, using a neutral non Eucalyptus wool wash. The merino has been treated so it can be cleaned in a washing machine. Put your item into a delicate wash bag, use the wool wash setting and a gentle wool detergent. Eucalyptus based wool wash has been known to strip colour, so over time, it may effect the colour of the yarn.
Dry in the shade and store your knitted/crochet item flat. If you wish to iron your item, have it on the medium setting.
I spend a lot of time working on the images to be as colour accurate as possible. There may be colour variation due to computer screen resolutions. There are also colour variations due to the nature of hand dyed yarns.
