About the Cowl
This stunning cowl is designed by Tess of Fluff and Nonsense. It is available in both a 4ply and 8ply yarn weight.

Like most of her patterns, Tess loves things that are created to be mindful, simple, and pretty. Building off that premise, Tess wanted to feature lace that wasn't too tricky, and this four row motif felt perfect. The left and right leaning decreases, paired with the yarn overs make for a cute, travelling lace pattern that is framed by columns of twisted stitches. It's a simple, pretty cowl that anyone can make.

About the Yarn
When designing the Wildflowers Cowl, Tess knew immediately that she wanted it to be in the popular Bombed Yarns colour, Miss Marple's Full Briefs. This purple/maroon colour has a gentle variegation, which works perfectly with the cowl pattern.
There are two yarn choices for the Wildflower Cowl Kit:
Dynamite 4ply sock | 75% Superwash Merino Wool / 25% Nylon | Approx. 425m per 100gm
Dynamite 8ply DK | 100% Superwash Merino Wool | Approx. 225m/100gm
About the Kit
The kit includes a 100g skein of yarn in your choice of 4ply or 8ply.

About Knit for the Girls
Launching 1st October, the Knit for the Girls 2026 ‘Down Under’ Pattern Collection brings together some of our beloved Australian knitwear designers and hand-dyers, in support of the Knit for the Girls breast cancer research fundraiser.
