Sánná & Co and Bombed Yarns have joined forces to design an Advent Calendar for December 2026.
Introducing: “Felicity Blanket”. A knitted take on the beloved patchwork quilt.
This Advent Calendar includes:
24 x 20g mini-skeins of hand-dyed yarn (4ply, 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon)
1 x 100g skein of hand-dyed yarn (4ply, 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon)
A printed knitting pattern by Sánná & Co, designed especially for the Advent Calendar.
The pattern and colour palette were designed in tandem. Susanna and Sarah worked closely to ensure the pattern celebrates the colours, and the colours make the pattern sing. And the result is a throw blanket (92 x 134cm) that’s fun, striking, and as unique as the maker!
To ensure your orders make it to you by 1 December, orders close 10 November 2026.

We can’t give too much away now (this is an Advent Calendar after all)! But the blanket pattern and the colours will be revealed at separate times.
This is not a mystery knit along. In fact, glimpses of the throw blanket will be shown before December. And the full printed pattern will be ready for you to open on 1 December.
But in a fun twist, your final design is a surprise even to us! It’s a choose-your-own adventure type thing! The pattern will step you through how to knit the pieces of your throw blanket. But how you put them together is completely up to you. Just like a true patchwork quilt! This pattern is great for adventurous beginners and beyond.
The colours, however, will remain a mystery throughout December. Each day of the month, you’ll open an envelope containing a different colour.
And the colour palette is delicious! This Advent Calendar has a real watercolour vibe. Mossy greens, watery blues, cool teals, pretty lilacs. Monet would love to paint with these colours!
Just like the name “Felicity” suggests, the throw blanket is festive and happy, without leaning into traditional Christmas colours.

Not a knitter, or don't need a throw blanket? You are of course welcome to use the yarn however you please! The colours were designed to make the pattern come to life, but these colours are highly versatile. And given the yarn is a sock base (75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon), there are endless ways to put it to use!

How much knitting is needed each day to keep up with the Advent Calendar?
To keep up with the Advent Calendar, you would need to knit 20g each day. (But of course, we encourage you to go at the pace that enables you to best enjoy your knitting!)
Do I have to use the yarn for the pattern?
Of course not! You will receive a printed copy of the Felicity Blanket pattern with your Advent Calendar. But how you use the yarn is completely up to you. And you are still very welcome to join the Make Along even if you decide not to knit the throw blanket.
