Rollin' in the Heat is a colourway in our new baby suri alpaca and pima cotton base. Read more about that below!
Rollin’ in the Heat is summer energy in yarn form: bold, bright, with sunset tones.
This fiery coral-red has all the warmth of a long, sun-drenched afternoon and just enough attitude to make every stitch pop. It’s soft and airy with a silky halo that glows like it’s lit from within.
Vibrant, confident, and impossible to ignore, this one’s bringing the heat (in the best way). 🔥
About the Base
This glorious new base is called Fluffy Fluff, and fluffy it is! Designed with a cotton tube with alpaca fibres blown into it, it is scrumptiously soft to work with and delightful to wear!
This base is so lovely to create with. It has a beautiful stitch definition highlighting cables and lace work well. It is 300m long in 100g so it can be classified as a sport weight (5ply). However it knits up as a lovely DK or 8ply yarn! Making the yarn go even further!

Hand wash gently in luke warm water, using a neutral non Eucalyptus wool wash. Eucalyptus based wool wash has been known to strip colour, so over time, it may effect the colour of the yarn.
Dry in the shade and store your knitted/crochet item flat.
I spend a lot of time working on the images to be as colour accurate as possible. There may be colour variation due to both computer screen resolutions. There are also colour variations due to the nature of hand dyed yarns.
