Brooding Botanist is layered and tonal. It flows from shades of emerald, bottle green and forest-y hues. There's subtle movement and variegation throughout the skein, with pops of linen peeking through in the original colour.
About the Base
This base is 50% Baby Alpaca, 25% Linen, 25% Silk. And it is divine.
The yarn is silky smooth, and is a delight to work with. Knitted or crocheted garments have a lovely drape, and it has a beautiful stitch definition.
It's a 4ply fingering weight, and it's approx 400m per 100g.
