Miss Marple's Full Briefs is a luscious purple maroon. An elegant, royal colour, but on this yarn base has an earthy feeling to it as well. There's subtle movement and variegation throughout the skein, with pops of linen peeking through in the original colour.
Miss Marple's Full Briefs is one of our popular colourways, and we understand why! If you've bought this colourway before, please note that the colour looks slightly different on the alpaca/linen/silk base than it does on our regular merino base. This is part of the beauty of hand-dyeing on different fibres! You can see Miss Marple's Full Briefs on 100% Superwash Merino here.
About the Base
This base is 50% Baby Alpaca, 25% Linen, 25% Silk. And it is divine.
The yarn is silky smooth, and is a delight to work with. Knitted or crocheted garments have a lovely drape, and it has a beautiful stitch definition.
It's a 4ply fingering weight, and it's approx 400m per 100g.
Miss Marple's Full Briefs
Hand wash gently in luke warm water, using a neutral non Eucalyptus wool wash. Eucalyptus based wool wash has been known to strip colour, so over time, it may effect the colour of the yarn.
Dry in the shade and store your knitted/crochet item flat.
I spend a lot of time working on the images to be as colour accurate as possible. There may be colour variation due to both computer screen resolutions. There are also colour variations due to the nature of hand dyed yarns.
