Duchess After Dark - she's elegant, moody and mysterious. With shades of eggplant through to mulberry, there's subtle movement throughout the skein. And the pops of silver linen peeking through gives her a royal flair!
About the Base
This base is 50% Baby Alpaca, 25% Linen, 25% Silk. And it is divine.
The yarn is silky smooth, and is a delight to work with. Knitted or crocheted garments have a lovely drape, and it has a beautiful stitch definition.
It's a 4ply fingering weight, and it's approx 400m per 100g.
Duchess After Dark
Hand wash gently in luke warm water, using a neutral non Eucalyptus wool wash. Eucalyptus based wool wash has been known to strip colour, so over time, it may effect the colour of the yarn.
Dry in the shade and store your knitted/crochet item flat.
I spend a lot of time working on the images to be as colour accurate as possible. There may be colour variation due to both computer screen resolutions. There are also colour variations due to the nature of hand dyed yarns.
